Now Participate as a Company in the Transition to Green Chemistry

Removing barriers to scaling innovative technologies and business models, so that (disruptive) initiatives by companies in the field of bio-based raw materials, recycling, and process electrification can scale up to industrial volume. To achieve this, new connections are essential between these companies and supply chain partners, regions (in the Netherlands and abroad), sectors, and disciplines.

Benefits of participating as a company

Within GCNE, this collaboration is facilitated and stimulated. The aim is to maintain a vibrant community where companies within green chemistry can meet each other, relevant financiers, partners, and policymakers, and explore collaboration opportunities. As a participant, you can actively contribute to and influence the overarching agenda of GCNE through a quarterly participant meeting. You will participate in (inter)national matchmaking both within and outside the GCNE network. We connect participants with each other so that we can learn from one another about specific topics. To this end, GCNE organizes at least four organizational visits each year exclusively for participants. We also organize an annual plenary event and at least three thematic quarterly meetings. As a participant, your organization receives two access tickets for these meetings. GCNE maintains an extensive network of (potential) supply chain partners, financiers, policymakers, and academics. As a GCNE participant, you gain access to this network, and we connect you with experts or potential partners. There is also the opportunity to initiate collaborative challenges (subsidy) projects or research.

Currently, the first companies have registered. They express their motivation for participating:

• Synova …. we believe that an efficient transition to a circular 'plastic' economy can only take place through good collaboration with stakeholders.
• Alfa Laval …. we want to contribute to concretely accelerating the energy transition with our available technologies.
• Port of Moerdijk …. with the strong chemical cluster in our port, we have the ambition to progress further in the transition. We are convinced that this can only be achieved by taking steps together.
• Bureau Veritas …. our current and future services align well with the core activities of its members, and valuable knowledge sharing occurs during the activities.
• ChemXpro …. we are fans of good coffee, stroopwafels, innovation with impact, and sustainability (not necessarily in that order ;). We work every day to make the chemical industry more efficient, greener, safer, and therefore more sustainable. We believe that participating in the GCNE network promotes our mission and are excited to be part of this network.
