Five New Game Changers Join the Green Chemistry Accelerator
31-10-2023
Dops, Senbis, Nature’s Principles, Resolved, and Recell have been selected as promising game changers for the green transformation of the chemical industry in the second edition of the Green Chemistry Accelerator program.
The participants kicked off in early October by creating a 200-day plan to address the main barriers in their scaling-up processes. In the coming months, the companies will receive tailored support from a team of experts and gain insights from one another through group sessions.
For more information about the participants, read about the pitches at the annual event.
These companies share an ambition to make the chemical industry greener. During the accelerator’s first masterclass, the entrepreneurs outlined their guiding principles:
- Fossil-based virgin resources will be replaced with cleaner and more efficient technologies.
- Through radical innovation, the existing industry is encouraged to work collaboratively toward scaling up.
- End products will gain more value by utilizing renewable carbon sources.
In short, they are building new value chains that will enable a sustainable chemical industry!
Arnold Stokking, chairman of the GCNE platform, remarked:
“It was a pleasure and truly inspiring to engage with the five participating companies. The new green chemistry and economy, focused on non-fossil value cycles, will be shaped by companies like these. At GCNE, we are committed to maximizing the conditions for the success of these game changers. A big thanks to the venture partners from the regional development agencies and Invest-NL who were present. Together, we’re making it possible!”
GCNE congratulates these remarkable participants on securing a place in this unique program. For more information about the program, click [here], or contact Angelique Erkenbosch at angelique.erkenbosch@innovationquarter.nl.
