GCNE Puts Gamechangers on the Map: Join Us!

29-10-2025

Together with the network, GCNE is showcasing the game changers for green chemistry and the new economy. On the site, the game changers, clusters, and support organizations can now be found on the map. Support the goals of GCNE and join with the network declaration!

The GCNE platform focuses on accelerating the transition of raw materials in the chemical manufacturing sector in the Netherlands: from fossil raw materials to circular, biobased, and CO2-based raw materials. GCNE targets 'gamechangers', often young companies in the scale-up phase or existing enterprises that stimulate and shape the raw materials transition in their operations. The platform supports these companies with their financing challenges and, as a result, has a large network of innovative entrepreneurs and financial organizations, as well as a deep understanding of the obstacles these businesses face. The platform represents 'gamechangers' in its lobbying efforts on selected policy issues aimed at promoting the financing of the scaling-up of business initiatives. To this end, GCNE maintains a broad network with regional and national governments and also engages with European legislation. In pursuit of its objectives, GCNE actively builds a network that encourages and helps shape the innovation and entrepreneurial climate for gamechangers. GCNE actively references the various parties in this network in its communications.

The objectives of GCNE are socially driven while also serving private interests. GCNE initially emerged with support from regional governments. The aim of GCNE is to be publicly and privately funded, a condition for long-term success. GCNE will involve organizations in its activities.
